I know it’s a few days late but for those that keep up with this page I just wanted to post an update of our Saturday at KSP for the Mike Melton Memorial race. We went out for our hot laps specifically for the locked in cars from Friday nights race. Hit a massive rut in turn 1. The car hopped then the right front hit the concrete wall and flipped over. Tore up a good big of parts. With help from a ton of people we were able to get it repaired and ready to start the A main in 8th. 2 laps in we moved into 6th and the car felt good. On Lap 3 entering turn 1 the car hopped and came to a stop. After assessing the damage/issue we found the driveshaft broken.

Parts are ordered and we will be ready for the next go round!

5th to 1st in the 1st heat race after drawing a 53. That lines us up on the pole for the dash. We didn’t get the start that we were needing and lost a spot to finish 2nd. After the dash we started 2nd in the main and fell to 4th for a good chunk of the race. After a late race caution we were able to get up to 3rd at the checkered. Not the best night but happy to be able to roll it back in the trailer.
