After spending time traveling the country, I’ve learned a great deal. Scraped knees and broken fingernails should be celebrated. Crazy high summits are worth the work, early mornings are made for ponytails, and the mountain doesn't care about make-up. I now know new cities are as much fun to explore as new mountains, and there is fabulous food everywhere.But above all else…when a girl has to p*e,

Like a portal to another world, there are more than 2000 brilliant arches in this wonderful park. It’s pretty obvious how Arches National Park got it’s name. But does anyone know why all that surrounding rock was called ‘slickrock’ by some? 📸 //
