We had a great day at the track, B Qualified 2nd in Jr3A, and 3rd in Jr3B. After an early wheel hop B got up on the wheel and drove back up to the front to pick up the Win in Jr1A🏁 We had another great run in the second race just came up a little short finishing 2nd. I have so many people to thank!! Starting with the Lord Above for a safe day at the track! My family for all the support they give us in doing what we Love. So it's been while since we've posted but we haven't been doing much Kart racing lately. Instead we've changed it up a little bit,and started doing some dirt oval RC Racing. We even added Emma Lou to our drivers list! We have had loads of fun with this, and look forward to logging many more laps. Also thanks Honey for supporting yet another Racing Hobby!!

Had our last Backyard race of the season yesterday at TripleT. Brayden and Emma had our buddy Connor #95 riding with us while he's recovering from his bad accident! We qualified 3rd in both classes and brought home a 3rd in the points Race and finished 6th in Pro. While the kart was good all day I let my driver down in Pro and missed it on gear and had him a little to tight! Most importantly thanks goes to our Lord above for a safe night! Thanks to my family for all the help in the pits, it truly is a family effort when we go to the track! Last but not least thanks to our sponsors for supporting our Team! To Terry and the staff at Triple T thanks for all the work you put in, a Great track surface and fun Backyard Series!

So these pictures sum up our whole night at the Backyard Series yesterday!! Probably the scariest night I've ever had at the track. As I unloaded today I just thank the Lord for looking after my lil man B last night! We struggled all day, started out with our tach not working and getting no info in practice, thanks to Tyler Sealy for loaning us a tach, miss tires in qualifing and heat race and have to start in the rear of both races. After qualifing our plug wire pulls apart so we have to change motors! Go out in the points race and the motor we put on has an issue and won't get up to speed. So I get the original motor repaired and we go out and actually finish the money race but missed the gear by 2 teeth. So I clean out the carburator on the motor that wouldn't run and we go for some practice laps after the race, motor ran fine but when B came off the track apparently the fuel filter on top of the motor had a crack and leaked fuel so when he pulled the plug to shut off the engine it sparked and ignited a fire on the motor right beside my son, I grabbed him and snatched him out! He got out of this without a scratch but it was a very scary situation and could possibly have had a different outcome. I want to thank everyone that raced over to help put out the fire and check to make sure Brayden was ok!! B and I Pray before every race and this particular night out Prayers where answered because I know the Lord had his hands on my son! Karts can be fixed, motors can be rebuilt but my son can't be replaced! So please everyone take safety very serious and use all the equipment you can to protect your children, or yourself as a racer!!

Well it was an interesting night at Tri County to say the least! Had good speed all day, B Qualified 3rd in both Jr3 races. Lap 2 of the first race the leaders got together and it piled everybody up, luckily despite a bent RF spindle, king pin, broke catch can, chain guard, cracked clutch bell, and busted up body B was able to hold on for a win! Not to mention my driver had a pretty busted up right arm!! Thanks to Emily, Emma, and Jake for jumping in and working there butts off, we got the Kart back together and B was able to pull out a third place finish in the 2nd race! Needless to say we got a kart to go through this week. Thanks to all our sponsors for the continued support, and most of all to God above for keeping us safe and sound!!
