A Celebration of 20 Years with Leila Shimmies
Today, we proudly celebrate an extraordinary milestone—20 years of belly dance instruction at Continental Dance Club by our beloved Leila Shimmies, and the Veils of the Nile.
For two decades, Leila has shared not only her incredible artistry and technical mastery, but her heart, her passion, and her unwavering dedication to the art of belly dance. Her classes have been a place of empowerment, self-expression, confidence, and joy for countless students over the years.
Leila’s presence in our studio has been nothing short of magical. She has inspired beginners to fall in love with movement, helped seasoned dancers refine their craft, and created a welcoming, supportive environment where every student feels seen, celebrated, and encouraged. Her knowledge, patience, humor, and grace have left an indelible mark on our dance family.
We are deeply grateful for the years she has devoted to teaching, mentoring, and uplifting our students. Her legacy lives on in every shimmy, every smile, and every dancer who has had the privilege of learning from her.
