Our Industrial Major Softball girls are STATE CHAMPIONS!

With a huge 4–1 win, these girls battled, believed, and BROUGHT HOME THE TITLE!

But they’re not done yet—our champions are now advancing to the Little League Softball Southwest Region Tournament!

The entire Industrial Little League family is beyond proud of these girls and their coaches. Keep swinging, keep fighting, and keep making history!

Hats off to you both on many years of service to the youth sports and community!

Tonight, we have the privilege of recognizing two extraordinary gentlemen whose dedication to Little League has shaped not only the game, but the lives of countless young people throughout our communities.
First, we honor Thom Guitterez. For 35 years, Thom has been a teacher, mentor, and leader. From developing players and umpires to representing Texas East on the world stage as a 2010 Senior Softball World Series Umpire and 2023 Junior Softball World Series Umpire, his passion for excellence has been unmatched. As our Umpire in Chief, Safety Coordinator, and a Texas East State Evaluator, Thom has invested in generations of volunteers, ensuring the game we love continues to grow with integrity and professionalism.
We also recognize Danny Kotzur, a name that is truly synonymous with Little League in our area. For more than 45 years, Danny has dedicated himself to serving others—as President of Karnes City Little League, Assistant District Administrator, District Administrator, and most recently as Assistant District Administrator Consultant. His leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment have left an immeasurable mark on District 27 and the communities we serve.
The true measure of a legacy is not found in titles or years of service, but in the lives that have been touched. Thom and Danny have inspired hundreds of young athletes, coaches, volunteers, and fellow administrators. They have taught lessons that extend far beyond the baseball and softball fields—lessons of character, respect, perseverance, and service.
Gentlemen, while your official roles may be coming to an end, your influence never will. The foundation you have built will continue to support future generations, and your example will remain a standard for all of us who follow.
On behalf of Texas East District 27, thank you for your friendship, your leadership, your countless hours of service, and your unwavering belief in the mission of Little League.
