Elk River Canoe Rental LLC Opening Date April 25, 2026

We are looking forward to seeing all our customers and friends once again this year. See you on the river.

If you’ve never floated with us, we hope you give us a try. Elk River Canoe Rental LLC is located just off US Highway 64 in Kelso, TN. As the only outfitter on the Elk River, we provide canoe/kayak rentals and shuttle service to a limited area of the river. We will be closed today, Thursday June 11 due to the water level being too high. TVA’s release schedule changed in the night and they did not stop releasing till 4:00am.

We will be open tomorrow, Friday June 12.

We will NOT be open Wednesday ( June 3 ) and Thursday ( June 4 ) due to high water. TVA is spilling 2800 cfs , making the water high and fast. This weekend is looking BEAUTIFUL. Call now to reserve your canoes , kayaks and or two man kayaks. Come cool off and have fun on the Elk River.
