Tuesday, Sept 17th - now with 8 1/2 years of lessons & practice - received shakuhachi Shoden certificate from my sensei Elliot Kanshin Kallen - www.japanflute.com . Elliot lives & teaches in Santa Rosa, Calif. He is shihan (master teacher) and president of The International Shakuhachi Societym (visit www.Komuso dot com). Certificate issued by Chikuyusha School, the largest Kinko-ryu shakuhachi organization in Japan. Thank you Elliot for your instruction, patience and friendship. What now? Practice. Practice. Labor Day (Monday - Sept 4) is a holiday break at Aikido of Konocti. Regular class schedule (Adults, Teens, Youth) resumes Wed, Sept 6 and continues every Mon, Wed and Thurs until our 2023 Thanksgiving Holiday break.
