Shannon Running Club is an affiliate of FFP Running Clubs a 501 c 3 non-profit organization dedicated to establishing free "Social" running clubs throughout the country to promote a stronger culture of fitness. Get in your a free weekly 5k fun run w/ friends, enjoy great membership benefits such as discounted post-run snacks and drink specials, while raising money for local charities. Get in some

exercise, meet up with friends, drink beer and make new friends! Most people meet for the Thursday runs by 6:00 PM at Keller - Harvel Elementary School (635 Norma Ln, Keller, TX 76248 - we park in the lot at the corner of Johnson Rd and Norma Ln)

The basic loop is about 2.1 (if you do the out-and-back up the hill to where the sidewalk dead-ends), but since it is in a neighborhood, it is easy to add on - or just do multiple laps. Head to Shannon Brewing Company (818 N Main St, Keller, TX 76248) afterwards for socializing, beers, and a local food truck (When coming down the driveway, be aware that there are two "hidden" speed bumps so take those slow to save your suspension. 😜)
