What an incredible night for Black Lion MMA!

Last night, two of our athletes stepped into the ring and delivered incredible performances.

Sayo — one of the most dedicated people I’ve ever had the opportunity to train. At 43 years old, every single time she steps into the ring, she gives absolutely everything she has. We are so incredibly proud of you, Sayo. You don’t have anything to prove to anyone. We simply love watching you fight because you always come looking for the finish.

Then came Kyle — another incredibly dedicated athlete and one of the easiest people to coach. He followed the game plan to a T, did everything we asked of him in training, and executed everything perfectly when it mattered most.

And the result? A beautiful second-round KO!

We couldn’t be more proud of you both. This is only the beginning.

Yesterday we celebrated another Belt Promotion, Black Lion MMA’s 3rd Anniversary, and Coach Toco’s birthday.

Days like this remind us that Black Lion has never been just about training. It’s always been about people.

To every student who steps on the mats, every family who trusts us with their children, and everyone who believes in what we’re building—thank you.

Your support, trust, and dedication are what allow Black Lion to continue growing year after year. Every training session, every promotion, every word of encouragement, and every act of support means more than you know.

Congratulations to everyone who earned a new belt. Wear it with pride, but remember that every new belt also comes with the responsibility to keep learning, growing, and leading by example.

We’re proud of the team we’re building and grateful to have such an incredible community by our side.
