The underdogs strike again! McNary defeats #9 North Medford in just five innings!

The Celts scored eight runs in the fifth inning - Ashlyn Wittnebel singled, scoring one run, Aspynn Westby singled, scoring one run, Ali Martinez singled, scoring one run, Karah Miller singled, scoring two runs, and Josalyn Netzel homered to center field, scoring three runs.

McNary jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Miller doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run. We added one run in the third.
Beth Tavares singled on an 0-2 count, making the score 4-0.

The Lady Celts piled up 16 hits in the game. Miller provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the team with four runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-4 on the day. Martinez and Westby each collected three hits & Natalie Macik, Netzel, and Wittnebel each collected multiple hits.

We play again Friday against the winner of Westview/Barlow. Ⓜ️🥎
