This months firefighter highlight

Mike Childs, Firefighter / EMR

Mike joined the Keewatin Fire Department in April of 2019. He has always liked helping people and wanted to do it on a higher scale by bettering the community he’s lived in his whole life. After joining the department, he discovered he really enjoyed it and the role model he gets to be for his kids, family, and friends. He feels that hard work isn’t always worth a paycheck but the fulfillment of helping others is what makes it worth it.
