Since 2005, we’ve been proud to serve the Keene community by helping students become their best selves. Welcome to Steve DeMasco’s Martial Arts in Keene, NH, proudly serving the community with traditional Shaolin Kempo instruction for over 25 years. Our studio offers age-specific programs for children, teens, and adults, including the Little Dragons program for ages 4 to 6, youth martial arts for ages 7 to 12, and classes for teens and adults that focus on self-defense, discipline, and physical fitness. We also provide private lessons tailored to individual needs. Conveniently located in Keene, our dojo is a welcoming space where students of all experience levels can build confidence, focus, and strength through expert instruction.

🥋 Thursday classes were great!

We had a busy night with our Tigers, Dragons, and Adults, along with some new kids and adults coming in to try their first classes. It’s always exciting to welcome new faces and see them getting started.

Our students were also training hard for the upcoming 2026 SDSS New Hampshire Martial Arts Tournament, putting in extra work on their Sword Sparring and getting ready for tournament day.

We’re excited to have Rithvik join us and begin his martial arts journey. It’s always great to see a new student step onto the training floor, learn new skills, build confidence, and become part of our martial arts community.

🥋 What a great Monday of classes!

The studio was busy from start to finish, with lots of great training and several new students coming in for their very first class. It’s always exciting to welcome new faces and see them take that first step in their martial arts journey.

We’re also continuing to prepare for the upcoming 2026 SDSS New Hampshire Martial Arts Tournament on Saturday, October 17th, 2026. Students will be working in class on their techniques, forms, sparring, and tournament preparation as we get closer to the big day.

We are proud to announce that on August 6, 2026, Professor Mikael Meyer was elevated to the rank of 10th-Degree Black Belt (Soke) in Concord, New Hampshire. Achieving one of martial arts' highest honors, he has spent 3 decades carrying forward the legacy of his mentor, Grandmaster Steve DeMasco, through his guidance and development of generations of SDSS students. This milestone underscores his unwavering commitment to sustaining the values and teachings of the SDSS tradition, ensuring they endure for future generations. 🥋 Friday Night at SDSS Keene!

What a great night of training!

Our students spent time preparing for the SDSS New Hampshire Martial Arts Tournament and had the chance to work with some of our new training equipment. Everyone brought great focus, energy, and effort to the floor.

We also wrapped up the night with our Student Leadership Team Member Class. Tonight’s discussion was about staying motivated and remembering why each student wanted to become part of the leadership program.

That’s what leadership is all about—setting a good example, helping others, and continuing to grow.

We’d also like to give a warm welcome to Dora, who joined our Adult Martial Arts Program today! Her son, John, has been training with us for about a year, and now she decided it was time to join in on the fun too.
