Cheshire County Shooting Sports Education Foundation, also known as Ferry Brook Range, promotes safe and responsible shooting education activities at all levels of experience. About CCSSEF
The Cheshire County Shooting Sports Education Foundation was created in 2010 by the Cheshire County Fish and Game (CCF&G) Club with a mission to offer beneficial educational programs to the community. The purp
ose of CCSSEF is to educate individuals in safe, responsible shooting activities by offering quality affordable classes, clinics, and seminars for all levels. Our Archery, Hunting, Pistol, Rifle classes, as well as Junior and Women programs, have been highly successful and we are continually expanding our offerings thanks to our dedicated group of volunteers. Our rifle team, the Ferry Brook Junior Rifle Team, has helped develop amazing responsible young shooters. More than just about shooting, the Cheshire County Shooting Sports Education Foundation also offers firearm safety and personal protection learning opportunities which benefit gun-enthusiasts and non-shooters alike. In 2011, CCSSEF was granted 501(c)(3) Non-Profit status. As a charitable entity, the Foundation can receive tax-deductible donations which are used to offer and continuously better and develop more programs to serve our community.
