The Moutaineer is just so excited to recieve our first shipment of Maille a-part from Serre Chevalier, near La Grave, France.
Help us in welcoming to our humble halls - from French Alps, Maille a-part brings us beautiful hand-made merino wool & recycled synthetic pieces.
Buttery, 100% merino wool, stylish, and extremely comfy.

Shout out to the Great Adirondack Trail Day official fuel & recovery sponsor, . On-site we'll have their electrolyte replenishing HEED & goodie bags for all runners & hikers!

What makes them different? HEED, for example, is non-acidic, subtle-flavored "sports-drink" alternative— complex carbohydrates, complete electrolyte profile, and essential nutrients that balance blood sugar, buffer lactic acid, and ensure long-lasting energy. All other “sports drinks” are the same—lots of sugar, salt, and citric acid. Not HEED!

The Mountaineer staff's favorites from Hammer,
-Kaz likes RECOVERITE, it allows you to stack up big days AND recover in between to be at your best!
-Former Great Adirondack Trail Run Champion, Jeremy G. just picked up PERPETUEM Solids to dial in preparing for the next trail race.
-Finn says, "Easy! Gels!" He really likes Montana Huckleberry & Raspberry when he's bike racing.
-Mary Kay relies on PERPETUEM Powder, makes it easy to always have fuel in the system, especially in Winter!
-Max likes the ENDUROLYTES FIZZ Lemon Lime, not an overwhelming flavor & easy on the system.

Great Adirondack Trail Day is Sat. June 13, 2026! Just about a month out!

All are welcome to join us for the final stretch of the race - both Baxter Mtn Traverse and Great Adirondack Trail Run follow the Ausable River in Keene Valley to the finish line at the Keene Valley Country Club!

11am - 2pm is our post-event fun: Live music from Dirt Road, our vendor village with Ausable Freshwater Center providing education about our sensitive river ecosystems, and special guests Bethany Adams & Anicka Chaffey, snacks & lunch available for purchase from Green Goddess, AND bier from Big Slide Brewery.

Bethany Adams will be here to talk with about her new book, 'Unsupported' following Adams & her hiking partner, Katie Rhodes on their record-setting thru-hike of the Adirondack 46 High Peaks.

Anicka Chaffey, author & artist-in-residence, will be onsite to talk about 'Journey to the Hudson', a visual exploration of a changing watershed in the Adirondack mountains.

All proceeds to benefit Ausable Freshwater Center
