Congratulations to the Cranford HS Lady Cougars Soccer Program for an outstanding 2019 season! The Varsity Team brought home another Conference Championship and where the 2019 Union County Tournament Co-Champions. While finishing #8 in the NJ.com’s “Final Top 50” for 2019. The Junior Varsity Team captured it’s second straight Union County Title in 2019 and finished the season with 14-1-1 record.

Congratulations to the Cranford Varsity Ladies and Coaches for advancing to the North 2 Group 3 Sectional Final! The Ladies squared off against a familiar opponent in Middletown North during the semifinals of the NJSAA State Tournament. The Lady Cougars came out on fire🔥in first half and completely dominated in all aspects! Whether on the attack or defending in their half the Lady Cougars were on top of there game! Their effort, their focus, their determination, their commitment to compete for their team was at a very high level. Also very evident, which resulted in a 5-0 lead at halftime and on to a 8-3 win!! The Lady Cougars travel south to play a competitive Middletown South Team in the Finals!!!!!

Your 2019 Union County Tournament Varsity and Junior Varsity CHAMPIONS!! The Lady Cougars of Cranford High School!!!

What a performance by both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams during the finals! The Ladies played with such heart and effort. There determination and resilience during play was truly incredible. The hard work, focus, and commitment the Ladies and Coaches have given during this season is what these titles are built on! There isn’t a program more deserving to call themselves CHAMPIONS!!

I’m so very proud of you Ladies and Coaches!

It was a nice ceremony paying tribute to the Seniors! The Ladies performed with such amazing effort and resilience during the game. Especially in the 2nd half, as they battled back to tie the game on two separate occasions! The Lady Cougars fell on the wrong side of the scoreboard when the final whistle blew 4-3. The support the Ladies showed each other during and after the game makes them winners regardless of the final score!!

“Before you know it, you’ll have worked out with your teammates one last time, practiced with them one last time, been there in defeat, and celebrated successes, ONE LAST TIME.

Over the course of my years as coach I’ve had the opportunity to work with some very talented athletes. The Ladies in these photos are some of those athletes!

I’ve had the honor of working with this group of Ladies over the past 3 years while working with the Cranford HS Girls Soccer Program. Their athletic ability was evident, but what I would soon find out is what amazing people they all are! The character, dedication, effort, and respect these Ladies have demonstrated during these 3 years has been inspirational! I truly enjoyed watching you all play the beautiful game! Thank you for allowing me to be part of this journey!!
