What an awesome June of summer camps!

We kicked off the month at our Bearcat Camp and had a blast. From there, we headed to the ISI Camp in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where the girls were pushed outside their comfort zones and challenged to grow.

After a quick two-day turnaround, we wrapped up the month at the UNK Team Camp, finishing June with more hard work, competition, and development.

I’m incredibly proud of these girls for taking time out of their busy summer schedules to invest in themselves and their wrestling. The work being put in now will pay off when the season rolls around.

The future is bright for Kearney Girls Wrestling!

Last Saturday’s team banquet marked the end of an exceptional season, and we’re grateful for everyone who made it happen. Our 12 seniors deserve special recognition for establishing our program! We can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Capped off an incredible season with 5 State Medals, 3 State Finalists, 2 State Titles, and a team runner up finish. This was a total team effort. The word proud is the understatement of the century. Thank you seniors for being Trail Blazers for our program, and sport as a whole. Couldn’t be a better group of girls to carry the torch for this program!
