Our Hula ohana includes our haumana, their ohana, and supporting loved ones from near + afar ! They are all a true blessing from God ! We are so excited for what God has planned for all of us and we cannot be more grateful.

This special mele written by a very special kumu hula was shared by Konawaena Elementary School's May Day Queen 2023, Anna Rose Grace 💛 She specifically chose this mele and danced it beautifully !
This was one of the beginning milestones of NA 'ĀNELA E HULA'ANA. Mahalo to Anna Rose for her determination, her ohana for their love, for singing, and for the support !

Incorporating both kahiko (traditional hula), ‘auana (modern hula), and sometimes tahitian dance; Our goal is to encourage, maintain, and build our students to their best potential.

The meaning behind our logo:
"Let them praise His name in the dance" Psalms 149:3. The cross - God is the beginning, He is the end, He is the center of our lives. The elements - Founded in South Kona, we're blessed to be surrounded by the mauna, kai, and ānuenue daily that we incorporated all elements into the jagged line figure along the bottom. Mahalo for those who encouraged and inspired our Alaka'i and haumana to create this !
