Tuesday I had an awesome group that joined me for some spoonbill action. We had a good amount of inflow that day and that had them cruising. It made it a little bit tougher but we still got on them. We boated some good fish and we sure had a good time doing it. Thank you guys again for another good day on the water!

Yesterday we had a good old fashioned white bass smack down! We hammered down on them from the second we threw baits in, until the cooler was full. They kept me busy the entire time unhooking fish. We caught a decent amount of catfish in the middle of it including a real nice flathead! Fast action days like that are hard to beat! Thank you again for an excellent morning catching fish!

On day 2, they wanted to switch gears and chase after some paddlefish. We looked in a few different areas first thing in the morning and everywhere I stopped it was just covered up with shad. We found an area with some nice fish with a little less shad and got to work on them. We caught some really nice fish and one of them was another banded one! They wanted to keep one to try out the meat and send the head to Down to the Bone Taxidermy for an awesome bill mount! Thank you again for a good couple days of fishing!

Yesterday was day 1 of this groups quest to catch fish. We spent the morning in one spot catching fish after fish. With the cooler water temps we were able to do some catch and release, keeping the ones that got gut hooked. We kept our last over that was gut hooked and called it a morning. It hard to say how many fish we caught since we all lost track on them. We had a good mix of hybrids, white bass and catfish with the majority of them being really nice hybrids. Thanks again guys for an excellent morning fishing!

On Monday Lance and I did a 2 boat, group trip. It was a fun filled morning with some fast action catching!! We boated a ton of fish and sure had a good time watching them reel them in. If you have a large group of people that want to go fishing we can make it happen.

Saturday morning I had an awesome group. We started in an area catching a handful of smaller hybrids and white bass. We picked up and went looking for more fish and it wasn’t long before we were hammering down on them. We had a really good bite catching a cooler full of fish right before the rain hit.

By the time the evening group showed up, the rain had slowed down and we went right back to work. It was a feeding frenzy pulling in fish as fast as we could until that cooler got full once again. Minus a small rain delay, we had a fun filled day and caught a whole bunch of fish!

Yesterday we got started looking in an area I had seen fish the day before but the amount of shad in the area had the fish all spread out. We drove all over looking for fish and decided to look in an area we looked at first thing in the morning. The shad was gone and the fish were stacked! We hammered down on the white bass and had some good hybrids mixed in. I went through 130 shad faster than I could keep them on the hook. We ended the day with a cooler full of fish, thanks again yall for a good day out there!!

Yesterday I had a really fun morning getting to watch these boys reel in some big paddlefish. We had rain in the forecast but that didn’t stop us from getting out there. Luckily, we avoided the rain completely and was off the water right when it started to come down. One of the spoonbill they caught was a big banded one! It’s trips like these that make me love doing what I do. Thank you all again for such an amazing morning fishing!
