Our first anniversary not at the track, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still making laps. 🥲
5 years ago today we crossed that line.

With this being our first year away. A bit odd, but thankful we still get the time together!
Good luck to everyone heading to Antigo!!

Most of you know, but if you don’t,
I enjoy marketing and have come to really enjoy digital marketing and design.
I’m no pro, but do enjoy making flyers.

I know it’s late in the season as well, but If you are ever in need, or a pinch and would like some hero cards or just advertising flyers.
I don’t mind making them. 🏁

This year, we started the season knowing we might not make it to every race. Not because we didn’t want to, but because 3 growing offsprings are about just as expensive as this sport in itself.
We have come to terms with being OK with that.

🔙 Jumping back to our last race at Lena;
On my last lap coming out of Hell hole over that damn hill; (it’s always that damn hill) I felt the motor bog down and after crossing the finish line. She sounded like someone was kicking tin cans around in the motor.😅
Definitely knowing something wasn’t right, and then having to idle for tech she just sounded worse once back at pit.
We were hoping it to be a valve or something easy. however, Travis ruled that out quickly and deemed he would have to strip the motor to figure out what came loose/broke or entered the motor.
With already doing a rebuild preseason, this would hurt the wallet regardless of the outcome. And not knowing exactly what is wrong quite yet. We decide we were going to have to sit this next one out as well and possible Fall Crandon(to be determined yet).

So with this time, we are just thankful for everyone’s continued support this season.

Finally have time to make a post from rounds 8 & 9 at Dirt City Motorplex.

Saturday’s race with Travis back in the spots tower (thanks Dawn for the help with the kiddos) I went in just hoping to hang out with the pack and finish the race. Goal accomplished ✅ I was only running about 3seconds off. Started in 17th out of 18 and finished 17th.

Sundays race was super fun for me. I ran my best go around and was really feeling the buggy and my lines. Started in 17th again, finished in 14th.
However, after race tech, had us weighing in and deemed us 5lbs under the weight limit. (Which I honestly feel should have been done before the race) we didn’t fill our tank to begin with, but I feel if we did, we would have made the weight.
Needless to say we were DQ’d.
I personally do not race for points, but it a downer as that was my best run.

Looking ahead, I’m feeling good and looking forward to Bark River International Raceway!!
