🏁🏁It’s Race day at WIR 🏁🏁

We had some problems during practice so we didn’t get to qualify so we’ll be firing off last for the heat race. But we got the truck fixed up and excited to see what we can do.

Friday night recap:

Lady Luck wanted nothing to do with us. Our first practice session went well with us being 12th of 24. Second practice was going well until our chain decided it was time to retire breaking into two different pieces and causing other damage in the process. We were able to get another chain on and get the truck in good enough shape to limp through the rest of the night but missed qualifying in the process. Due to this, we started last row in the heat race and were able to drive up to 6th place out of 12. We started the B main feature 2nd and had a great start taking the lead into the first corner but the new chain decided to follow in the old chains footsteps ending our night early on the first lap.

Hoping our luck turns around this Thursday for the start of our weekly racing at WIR. See you there!

We’ve gotten a little behind posting this summer, but let’s get back on track! We’ve been racing at WIR in Kaukauna weekly and also went to Tomah and Slinger since we last posted. We’ve had some ups and downs (but mostly downs). Recently we’ve had some pretty bad luck following us as we’ve broken many things, but we’ve gotten the truck put back together each week and continue to give it our best shot.

Come on out to WIR tonight to see if our luck will turn around! Weather is gonna be great and we will have our truck on the front stretch after the races are over to meet the fans (as long as we can keep the truck in one piece tonight!)
