For every "Like 👍" this original post gets before Friday August 29, 7pm $1 will be added to the Golden Sands Speedway WIR 1/4 Mile Late Models race purse for Sept 1. Up to a maximum of $500. (We do welcome anyone that wants to sponsor more 💰 for "Likes" above 500)

Brandon Reichenberger did very well in Tim Baumann's car at the Race to Michigan 28 and neither of them race for money with the WIR 1/4 Mile Late Models. So that money is going back into the class for the Golden Sands Race. They also believe racers need to help promote the tracks, race events, and sponsors to see larger purses. Most times racing sponsorships are the only form of paid advertisments many small businesses spend money on for advertising. The easiest and cheapest way for racers to show appreciation and show the sponsors their advertisement is being seen is by giving a post a like, leaving a comment, or best sharing something. So go ahead and smash that like button, leave a comment, and maybe share it!

It's a huge night on the quarter-mile with all divisions and the much-anticipated Stan the Man Memorial for the Super Stocks & the Terry Van Roy Memorial in the Figure 8s. Plus, we continue two heated point battles on the half-mile!

Pete's Auto Repair & Sales WIR 1/4 Mile Late Models are back in action at Wisconsin International Raceway TONIGHT!

Just 2 races remain on the 2024 schedule for the series including tonight’s event.

Tim Baumann has a commanding 52 point lead over 2nd place Rick Spoo, but Spoo has been on a bit of a hot streak as of late. Race to Michigan 28 winner Mike Reichenberger will look to carry the momentum from his big win last Friday in the UP at Norway Speedway.
