Congratulations to #56 Justin Johnston on earning the 2026 Pete's Auto Repair & Sales WIR 1/4 Mile Late Model Rookie of the Year honors!

Justin and Team 56 picked up 2 feature wins and 8 top 5’s in 16 feature races.

Thursday evening we wrapped up the Wisconsin International Raceway portion of the Pete's Auto Repair & Sales WIR 1/4 mile late model season.

Congratulations to Mike Reichenberger and Justin Johnston on picking up the feature wins.

Next up for the WIR 1/4 mile late models is our maiden voyage to Marshfield Motor Speedway on October 3rd to wrap up the Triple Crown series.

RACE DAY! Tonight we crown a champion at Wisconsin International Raceway in the Pete's Auto Repair & Sales WIR 1/4 Mile Late Model Series. 🏆

5️⃣ drivers mathematically have a shot, but only 1️⃣ leaves tonight with the title of champion.

Ty Fietzer leads the points with a 24 point advantage over Dan Thomson, and 30 points over Henry Neerdaels. Rick Spoo enters 35 points out, with Justin Johnston 60 points behind.

Come see ALL the stars & cars of the series for the final time at WIR in 2026 and enjoy a beautiful evening. 🏁

This Thursday night may be our final regular season points race for 2026, but that’s not it for this year! 😎

On Saturday afternoon, October 3rd, the Pete's Auto Repair & Sales WIR 1/4 Mile Late Model Series will invade Marshfield Motor Speedway for the 1st time ever as part of the annual Fall Shootout. 🍁🍂

This race will also serve as the final round of the 2026 Triple Crown Series. 🏁

Championship week is upon us as we crown the 2026 champion in the Pete's Auto Repair & Sales WIR 1/4 Mile Late Model Series THIS Thursday night.

5 drivers are mathematically still in the hunt for the 2026 title.

Ty Fietzer has been a model of consistency and enters the night with a 24 point lead over Dan Thomson who has flexed his muscle the 2nd half of the season.

Henry Neerdaels has shown speed all year and has quietly stayed in the hunt just 30 points back while Rick Spoo has maintained his form and is once again in the title hunt entering the night just 35 points back.

Justin Johnston comes in 60 points back, and even though it may seem like a tall order, it’s never over until the checkered flag falls.

Points will be on the line in Qualifying along with CR Construction Feature #1 and Therrien Insurance Feature #2.

🚨 Qualifying at 5:40, Racing at 6:30 sharp. BE THERE! 🏁

Both of our 2026 Triple Crown series specialty race awards were captured by Brandon Reichenberger Friday night at the Race to Michigan 28.

- Advanced Dent Repair LLC Fast Qualifier Award ➡️ $50 bonus to the fast qualifier at each Triple Crown race

- Heise Heating & Air Conditioning Hard Charger Award ➡️ $100 bonus to the driver who passes the most cars in the feature of each individual Triple Crown race

⭐️ Both awards will once again be up for grabs in the Triple Crown finale at Marshfield Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon October 3rd

Rick Spoo was the winner of the Fietzer Motorsports & Fab LLC heat race Friday night at Norway Speedway.

Thanks to Fietzer Motorsports & Fab LLC the top 5 finishers in the heat race earned some bonus pay!

The 3rd annual Race To Michigan 28 At Norway Speedway presented by Jerry’s Kids.

Today’s race honors longtime Late Model racer & series competitor, the late Jerry Schneider.

In 2025, it was Brandon Reichenberger scoring a clean sweep en route to his first Race To Michigan 28 victory.

Today’s field features 4 former series champions, a former Stateline Challenge winner, 2026 feature winners, and some hometown favorites.

Make your plans to be in attendance TONIGHT at Norway Speedway to see who takes home “The Jerry” trophy . Racing starts at 7pm sharp. 🏁
