It is with a very heavy heart to announce that Jerry Medina Smith passed away yesterday afternoon. Per his family's wishes, we are going to continue with his well earned induction into the Circle of Fame. Rest in Peace Jerry.

A BIG thank you to all that came to the Pit Party. Enough was raised to get a decent flagpole and light. Also had promises to help with the granite marker. Once things get in the works, pictures and updates will be posted. Thank you again to everyone.

Thursday May 14th, the preseason pit party is happening at WIR. We will have a 50/50 raffle to raise funds to put a flag pole up in Jerry's Schneider's honor. Come help us make it a reality.

Make your plans now for the following 2026 induction dates. Induction is during opening ceremonies so plan to be at the track by 615 if you wish to see the festivities. If it happens to rain, a make-up date will be posted, but enough with the rain.

Had the great pleasure of spending some time with Jerry Medina Smith. Talked old school racing and listened to stories, he is still sharp. Jerry has decided he is no longer wanting to attend any races so unfortunately, he will not be present for his induction into the Circle of Fame. He will still be inducted as the champion he is. The date will be coming soon.
