Lone Star Open Horse Show Series

Lone Star Open Horse Show Series We’re a nonprofit equestrian club, offering schooling classes for riders and horses alike—all breeds welcome! Registration starts at 8:30AM day of show.

From Halter and Saddle Seat to Hunt Seat, Western, Ranch, Sport Horse, Hunter Hack, and Trail, we’ve got something fun for all ages! Please register classes 30 minutes prior to start times.
~Halter classes start at 9:30AM,
~English Div classes start at 11:30AM, ~Hunt Seats classes start at 1:00PM, ~Western Classes start at 2:30PM,
~Trail classes run throughout the day, no later than 4:30PM. ALL TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Don’t forget to reserve your stalls for the show!

Call Megan from Legends Equestrian Center (903-804-3001) and determine the number of total stalls needed for your group. Having a stall makes your show day more convenient! With easy access to hang your own water buckets and fans! You can also ask about reserving a tack stall.

*feed buckets, water buckets, and fans are NOT provided, but you may bring whatever you need 😊

Stalls cost $45 each and are 12x12ft

Exhibitors who choose to tie to the trailer and don’t reserve stalls pay a one time $10 trailer fee for the whole group. All payments are made on show day.

We will have jackpot classes with 💰CASH PRIZES💰at all of our shows this year!

The classes below will have jackpot prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place:
⭐️ class 9: halter open jackpot
⭐️ class 27: saddle seat w/t/c open jackpot
⭐️ class 42: hunt seat w/t/c open jackpot
⭐️ class 58: western w/t/c open jackpot

To qualify to enter a jackpot class, you must enter at least one other class in the same discipline.

1st place will win $200
2nd place will win $150
3rd place will win $50

We also have other classes that include cash prizes!

In our new class, ride-a-buck, winner keeps all the bills that have fallen!🤑 (class 30)

Winner gets 50% of entry fees in the following classes:
⭐️ class 13: liberty or freestyle
⭐️ class 66: cross rails
⭐️ class 71: trail walk/jog/lope open

We are so glad we are able to have these classes, thanks to the Texas Arabian Breeders Association for their donations!

🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE🚨: show canceled due to weather! ⛈️

Due to the predicted heavy storms and winds on Saturday, we have decided to cancel the show. We hope you can make it to our next one on May 16th!

All shows will be held at Legends Equestrian Center in Kaufman, Tx

Show registration will begin at 8 AM, and shows will start at 9:30 AM

Show attire is not required, and training tack is permitted. We will also have jackpot classes this year again!
