From Stavya’s Parents-Ever since he was young, he enjoyed dancing. He took classes growing up and showed a lot of interest, but after moving to a new area with fewer opportunities, it became harder to stay involved. He still looked for chances to perform, but without consistent training or a strong dance community, dancing gradually became less of a focus.
That changed when he joined Nithya’s class.
Over the last four years, he had opportunities to perform on different stages, take part in paid gigs, perform at NBA events, and even be part of a viral dance video that millions watched online. BDS gave him a consistent place to keep learning and improving.
But beyond the performances and achievements, what stayed with him most were the friendships. The laughter during rehearsals, the backstage chaos, the shared nerves before going on stage, and the people who made every practice something to look forward to. More than a teacher, Nithya was their friend too.
Nithya, thank you for creating an environment where he learned and enjoyed dancing. And had lot of fun doing it as well. Thank you for being their mentor and buddy at the same time. And thank you for a bunch of beautiful memories made.
