Thinking of Coach Mike Johnston’s family and friends today after his passing.
Coach Johnston’s devotion to Katy Hgh School students and athletes was honorable and will be remembered for decades to come.

Every night from May 14 through May 22, 2025, Legacy Stadium will come alive with the spirit of celebration as Katy ISD honors the Class of 2025.

As each graduation ceremony draws to a close, the sky will briefly sparkle with a 45-second fireworks display — a bright send-off for a bright future. Ceremonies traditionally end between 9:30 p.m. and 9:55 p.m., depending on the size of the graduating class.

To ensure the safety of all guests and graduates, Katy ISD has partnered with a professional pyrotechnics company to oversee the displays. Licensed and permitted through the City of Katy, the company will also provide on-site safety staff to help create a secure and memorable experience.

It is a moment years in the making. We cannot wait to celebrate the achievements, hopes and dreams of the Class of 2025.
