🔥 FROM OUR FIELDS TO NO. 1 IN THE NATION 🔥

A year ago, Reagan Eldred was a young girl practicing on our fields, still finding her way through the ranks.
Through our Texas Blaze Gold KTX 16U program, she competed, developed and continued to chase her potential.

With the mentorship of Kendra Pate of MVP Pitching, her game continues to take incredible leaps.
Today, Reagan is a member of the highest-level Blaze team in the nation.

After an unbelievable summer competing against the country’s best 18U teams, she’s now the No. 1-ranked player in the 2028 class. 🔥

Her final three schools—Texas A&M University, University of Oklahoma and the University of Tennessee—will have the opportunity to develop and showcase this rising star. 🌟
But we’re most proud of the journey: the work, the growth and the belief.

Congratulations, Reagan, we couldn’t be more proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished and will accomplish. ❤️🥎

From KGSA to the top of the nation. 🔥

🔥1. Reagan Eldred, P, Texas 🔥
Blaze United 18U – Robertson

A year ago at this time, Reagan wasn't the nationally elite player she is now.

In fact, she wasn't really well known in the Texas Blaze organization until Cory Robertson was at a Blaze organization workout and kept hearing the repetitive popping made when a pitched ball hits a catcher's glove... really, really hard.

Upon investigation, he found that the young pitcher throwing that heat was 6-foot-2 right-handed pitcher Reagan Eldred and, before long, she was invited up to his 18U team to stay.

There wasn't much of a settling in period, either.

After a strong sophomore campaign for her Klein Oak (Texas) High team that saw her perform well pitching-wise with a 1.13 ERA and at the plate, where Reagan batted .341 with five home runs, the summer came and, well, that's when it got interesting.

That's when Reagan became the hottest commodity in the 2028 class after college coaches saw what she could do... like pitch in a way that is next-level good, with the physical tools and skills that coaches see as having so much potential to get even better

From the Houston area, Reagan burst onto the scene in a big way this summer throwing against some of the best teams in the country and helped lead her Texas Blaze United 18U Robertson team to a 3rd place finish at PGF Premier division and a Top 5 finish at IDT.

An important reminder is that this 16U-eligible pitcher did all of these against the top 18U teams and. at PGF Nationals, the only two losses by Reagan and the Blaze were to the two teams who made it to the championships game, the Georgia Impact Premier team (a 3-2 loss) and to the Arizona Rising - Appel squad (2-1).

At PGF Nationals in total, the Texan pitched 36 innings with 46 strikeouts and compiled a 0.95 ERA, a 0.944 WHIP and a .137 batting average against.

The college coaches certainly started taking notice and, as the attention increased, the 2028 pitcher was invited to many camps. Like, a lot of camps.

Reagan paid attention to who was following her over the summer and that was key as to the schools where she choose to visit, including going to camps at the three schools who are now her final three: Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

And they weren't the only ones interested...

Top programs from every Power 4 conference expressed an interest and 16 schools did call on Sept. 1st but mostly to see if there was any chance to get a foot in the door.

The answer was, “Thanks, but no.”

So what makes Reagan so effective?

“Her riseball and her curve are her out pitches,” Texas Blaze 18U head coach Corey Robertson says. “And Reagan's touched 70 mph in games several times.”
Word according to several club coaches we talked to is that Reagan was No. 1 on the board of dozens of top schools, including ones in the SEC, Big Ten and Big 12 that she turned down.

One club head coach she faced and who is now a big fan after seeing the pitcher many times in person against his own team is Nathan Nelson, the head of the Hotshots premier 18U squad that has a lot of blue-chip players of its own.

“Reagan's the read deal and she's getting better, Coach Nelson says. “You look at her scores against top teams, including those at PGF, and they're lights out.”
“We've faced Reagan a couple of times so we've seen her up-close and there's a huge ceiling for this kid. I expect her to keep getting better. Her growth in one summer was just exceptional.”
Speaking of growth, Reagan's mom is 5-foot-11 and her dad is 6-foot-8... is there a chance that she could grow even taller?

“No, I'm done growing,” she laughs.

And that's about the only thing opposing hitters can be thankful for, because the pitcher Reagan is now, and the potential she has to become exponentially greater, is why she has another accomplishment she can add to her fast-growing resume.

🌎🥎 Tx Blaze KTX 18U Clark National Takes on Team New Zealand! 🇺🇸🇳🇿

Earlier this week, our 18U National Team had the opportunity to take the field against Team New Zealand in an exhibition game as New Zealand prepares for the upcoming World Cup. 🏆

It was a great chance for our athletes to gain valuable international experience, compete against a talented team, and add another unique experience to their journey. 💪🥎

We’re proud of our 18U team and the continued opportunities they’re taking advantage of to grow on and off the field.

Best of luck to Team New Zealand at the World Cup, and we’re excited to see what’s ahead for our 18U National Team! 🇺🇸❤️💙

This little one grew up to become the President of KGSA.

So yes… this is who you’re asking to:

🗣️ Keep the board meetings going… and going… and going
📞 Coordinate important information with the county
📱 Maintain approximately ALL the group chats at any given moment
📋 Keep the league moving forward and make sure all the big things get handled
💙 Somehow know what’s happening with everyone and everything

Basically, this baby grew up to have a group chat for the group chat, turn a 30-minute meeting into an event, and still somehow get the important stuff done.

BRING. THE. WATER.

Not just your one water bottle that’s already half empty. 👀

And parents… Mom is NOT the backup water supply.

It’s HOT outside!
We don’t have AC at the fields, and let’s be honest… we barely have shade. So please come prepared!

💧 Your FULL water bottle
💧 Backup water — a cooler would be cool 😏
🧊 Cooling towels
🌀 Fans — battery-powered, clip-on, whatever works!

We want our girls hydrated, cool, and ready to play!

Hydrate before. Hydrate during. Hydrate after.

Shoutout to all the incredible high school athletes in Katy ISD who came out to help our Blaze coaches run the KGSA Fall 2026 Players Clinic this past weekend! 🥎🙌

Jordan • Cinco Ranch • Paetow • Seven Lakes • Katy • Mayde Creek • Tompkins • Taylor • Freeman

Our KGSA girls had a blast learning from older players in the community, and it was so special to see high school athletes pouring back into the next generation. 💪❤️

Moments like these remind us that softball is bigger than the field — it’s about teamwork, mentorship, and building a family that stretches across every age group.

Thank you Texas Blaze KTX for making this possible! 🔥

This little one grew up to become our Social Media Director & Secretary.

So yes… this is who you’re asking to:

📱 Stay chronically online for the good of KGSA
🔥 Keep up with the trends and make them softball
📸 Showcase our players, families, coaches, and league
📝 Keep track of who said what and when
⏰ Keep the President on schedule so we can end a meeting

Basically, this baby grew up to live online, document everything, and make sure the board meetings actually end.

This little one grew up to become our 8U & 9U Commissioner.

So yes… this is who you’re asking to:

🥎 Keep the 8U & 9U divisions running smoothly
📣 Keep coaches informed and on the same page
📋 Help teams navigate the season
😅 Make sure the adults remember they’re coaching a kids’ league

Because the players are children… but somehow the coaches occasionally need more supervision than the players. 😂

It’s one thing to keep a couple hundred kids on track. It’s another thing entirely when you add the grown-ups.
