Fish on Fire Charters Retired Fish on Fire Charters has been in operation since 2014 with Captain John LaPointe at the helm. Captain John is a passionate fisherman.

He wants people to enjoy the same experience he did when he visited Alaska over 19 years ago. He has been a Captain for 13 years but fished Cook Inlet with a friend for several years prior. The charter departs from Deep Creek at Ninilchik, Ak, from there you will be taken onto open water in Cook Inlet. The new F/V Lily a 28 ft North River licensed for 4 anglers fishing trips are tide sensitive as

we have the 2nd biggest tides in North America This year May 27th we will have a 29.5 foot change in tide in 6 hours. Which makes good for clamming


May we do king salmon and halibut combo trips. Then focus on halibut through august
