Elections are upon us. Let’s run it back!
Since I first got on the School Board I have made a commitment to do whatever I could to better KCISD and support our community. I’ve stride to be as involved with the district as possible, to make the best decisions for a promising future for our schools, and more importantly set our kids up for success. I’ve not only said I would do it, I’ve put words into action by educating myself on how to build a stronger district and be there. If my involvement with the district wasn’t enough I took further action to try and make KC better for our kids.
2023- I took it upon myself to start a non- profit sports organization for the kids of Karnes City. Thousands of kids have registered for basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, and cheer. Kids from Pre-K to sixth grade have all been a part of Legacy. I have volunteered my time in not only directing and managing the organization by handling the registration, making the schedules, coordinating with KCISD for their assistance in providing facilities, and coaching up to seven teams a season. 5 days a week dedicated to these sports to include continuous weekends. Now OUR kids play over 5 towns in sports and travel all over south Texas for tournaments.
Still not enough, in 2025 I took over KC Aquatic Club that was a “member only” pool and transformed it into a facility that included ALL kids. I opened the gates to every kid in KC that wanted to enjoy this pool. As well as coordinating with KCISD for summer swims for various types of sports groups in the district.
The last 4 years have been nothing but dedication to OUR KCISD kids. In and out of the district. The facts are there in black and white. Being a part of these kids lives and future is something I take a lot of pride in and hold near and dear to my heart.
A vote for me to continue my position on the KCISD School Board is the right vote. The actions speak for themselves.
Thank you all for your continued support and
BADGER PRIDE NEVER DIES!
