📣 ATTENTION RAIDER NATION 📣

Please join us for a Lakota School/Community Pep Rally on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 5:30 PM as we celebrate winning the Channel 11 News “Home Court Challenge” competition.

As you may recall, Lakota was recently awarded this honor after receiving the most votes among area schools for the Best Gymnasium in Northwest Ohio. In the final week of voting, Lakota surpassed Old Fort to earn the title of Best Home Gymnasium in Northwest Ohio.

Channel 11 News will be on-site to present the award during the event, and we hope to fill our home-side bleachers with a large, enthusiastic crowd. The rally will begin promptly at 5:30 PM in the main gym.

The event will include music from our Pep Band, and spirited cheers from our Cheerleaders. There will also be raffle prizes, including gift baskets, free admission to summer sports camps, and two free student athletic passes for the 2026–2027 school year. The evening will also feature a half-court shooting contest for a grand prize that you wont want to miss!

Channel 11 will broadcast portions of the event during their 5:30 PM, 6:00 PM, and 11:00 PM newscasts.

We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate this achievement and showcase the many great things happening at Lakota Local Schools. Go Raiders!

Shirts are available for purchase! Order cutoff is Wednesday April 22, due to making sure that shirts will be available for distribution at Lakota on or before the event! Click the link below to order yours!
