Sunday was our 1st Jamboree, and we got some great work in and had a lot of fun! Even with the heat wave this week, we found a way to keep working, keep growing and keep moving forward.

But here’s the thing, the one thing you don’t see in these pictures are the parents and all our coaches who make all of this come together. I say it all the time, and sometimes we don’t realize just how true it is, “We truly do this thing together”. From the sidelines to the practice field, it takes all of US. We are so ready to get this season started!!! One more weekend!

Let me tell you about someone that has made this preseason easier to manage this year. Let me introduce you to our Team Manager, Peyton!

The video took about 7 takes but that’s beside the point. Also, she took before and after pics of her cart to say our Coaches need to make sure to break down the flags and stack the cones. It makes her job hard 😂 I noted that.

She told me she didn’t want to play football, but I wanted to be around her teammates and friends. Since she’s a social butterfly like Coach Rob, I asked her mom if she could stick around and support us until our next sport ⚽️

I think we may have found a Future Sports Trainer/Manager! She’s right by Coach Rob’s side, helping keep practice on schedule, making sure we stay on time for breaks, organizing the sports cart, and taking so much pride in everything she does. We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for all your hard work during training camp and preseason! Keep it up, Peyton! You’re doing an awesome job, and we’re proud to have you on our team!

2ND ANNUAL LEGION BLOCK PARTY was a HIT!

With school right around the corner, we hit pause and celebrated what the Legion is all about:
Our Athletes: hard work + football = season loading
Our Community: building relationships and growing together.
FUN: because our kids deserve to play, laugh and make memories!

🚨 Tribute Thursday 🚨

Mia Lem

or you can call her a National Qualifier and the #69 ranked 12U 800m runner in the United States 🤯🇺🇸

Mia joined Legion as a successful gymnast simply wanting to try something new. From day one, we asked her to stay open minded and embrace every opportunity. She did exactly that. She fearlessly tried nearly every event we offered and excelled. The 800m race wasn't even introduced until late in the season, yet she trusted the process, put in the work, and earned a spot among the nation's best.
What makes Mia special isn't just her talent, it's her preparation. She trains with purpose, competes with confidence, and when it's time to dig deep, she knows exactly where to find that extra gear because she's already practiced it. This is only the beginning. The foundation has been built and the future is incredibly bright.

👏 We are so proud of you, Mia!

Keep chasing greatness but remember to have fun in the process. Your Legion family will be cheering you on every step of the way. That’s a wrap for Legion Track season until next year, talk to you in January 📞

From March until now, Brianna has shown what perseverance, resilience, and commitment look like. For five straight months, she chose to keep working, keep learning, and keep believing in herself. Every practice, every throw, and every challenge helped lead her to this incredible moment.

This honor wasn't given, it was earned.
Take a bow, soak it all in, and enjoy every second of this experience. Very few athletes ever get the opportunity to compete on this stage, and you've earned your place among the nation's best.

It's been awesome watching our new and returning athletes settle in adjusting to the weather, building commodore , learning from their coaches, and seeing our parents right there supporting. Together, we are building good behaviors one day at a time.

🏈 Week 6 of Registration 🏈

We're locked in.

Rosters are taking shape. Contracts are signed. The work is being put in. Every practice is another opportunity to build good habits, become better teammates, and prepare to finish what we started.

A huge shoutout to our parents who continue to brave the heat and weather right alongside us.

Week 5 of Registration
Conditioning season is officially underway! No footballs yet. Just building the foundation. Learning how to work. Learning how to compete. Learning how to be a teammate. Getting comfortable being uncomfortable and becoming LEGION.
It's a long season and we're not just preparing for Week 1, we're preparing to finish strong. Love seeing these young athletes buying in!

We're still building strong squads for:
Boys 4th, 5th & 6th Grade
Girls 4th & 5th Grade

Parents, don't make the mistake of asking your child if they want to play. They can't want what they've never experienced. Our job is to expose them to opportunities that build confidence, friendships, discipline, and memories they'll carry for a lifetime. Sometimes all it takes is one season to discover a passion they never knew they had.

What a Summer
From our 1st year Lady Legion squad building incredible chemistry from Day 1 and riding that wave all season long to our 3rd grade boys exceeding expectations in the Shawnee League to our K/1 crew laying the foundation by building consistent habits one practice at a time.

Watching these athletes grow has been the real win. Their skills improved, but even more exciting was seeing their confidence and baseball/softball IQ take off in such a short amount of time.

A HUGE shoutout to the coaches who poured into these kids every single day:
