Kansas City Sea Sprites The Kansas City Sea Sprites is the founding synchronized swimming group in the greater Kansas City area. Synchronized Swimming (USSS).

Established in 1951 by Coach Marilyn Deister, the KC Sea Sprites is a competitive team registered with USA Artistic Swimming. The Kansas City Sea Sprites (KCSS) is a competitive synchronized swimming team registered with U.S. The team was founded in 1951 to offer a synchronized swimming program in Kansas City and surrounding areas. Marilyn Deister, Head Coach and Founder of the Kansas City Sea Spr

ites, has presided over the team since 1951, making it the longest continually-coached synchro club in the nation! The Sea Sprites offer Intermediate, Age Group and Masters programs for girls and women at the entry level through the advanced skill level. Formal training, coaching, and opportunities to swim competitively are crucial to developing synchronized swimming skills and are available to all members of the KCSS.
