Waldo Bicycle Festival Kansas City's block party for people who want to play bikes in the Waldo neighborhood June 24, 2017 f Join us as we celebrate all things cycling and family fun.

Be sure to make room on your calendar to join Family Bicycles for the Waldo Bicycle Festival, Saturday, June, 24, 2017 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. There will be bikes, more bikes, racing for the little ones, vendors, food trucks, games, music, demos, beer and more! It'll be a bike-inspired block party you won't want to miss! Exhibitors will include cycling-related artists and crafts people. There will

also be people on hand to discuss everything from commuting and bike packing to riding with kids. There are even rumors of a 10-20 mile morning bike tour. Details to come!

Parking: There will be no parking in the lot or on W 73rd Terrace on Saturday June 24. Parking will be available in the ATA lots at Gregory and Wornall and at 75th and Wornall. Ride your bikes!

Well, it's unanimous--all the forecasts call for 100% chance for storms between 12-3pm. Right in the middle of the Waldo Bicycle Festival. We made the difficult decision to cancel the event today. We will find another date!

We are so excited to announce that City Barrel Brewing will be at the festival!

I am sure they will bring some of their hoppy and sour beers to share. The owners are Waldo residents and can't wait to share their beers with the neighborhood.

City Barrel is in the East Crossroads at 17th & Holmes check them out on First Friday this week.
