We’re looking for college and high-school students studying:
•Marketing & Social Media
•Journalism & Communications
• Photography & Videography
•Graphic Design & Media
We’re offering students the opportunity to use local community boxing gyms, fighters, coaches, and members as subjects for class projects, portfolios, stories, campaigns, photography projects, and other creative work.
Students can:
* Photograph training sessions, fighters, coaches & gym culture
* Interview coaches, athletes and community members
* Develop social media/marketing campaigns
* Create short-form video or documentary-style projects
* Write stories highlighting local boxing and the people behind it
* Create promotional or editorial pieces
Why boxing?
Because community boxing gyms are full of stories..discipline, mentorship, resilience, competition, family, and transformation.
This is an opportunity to learn, create, build your portfolio, and help shine a light on the people and organizations making an impact in our community.
