For our final Fountain Friday, we’re highlighting the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Fountain.

Its five interconnected pools symbolize America’s growing involvement in the Vietnam War, while the flowing water represents time’s power to heal the divisions caused by conflict.

As we wrap up our Fountain Friday series, we’re proud to celebrate the fountains that help make Kansas City the City of Fountains. 🏃‍♀️⛲️

As we count down to the Garmin Kansas City Marathon, we're highlighting the iconic fountains that make KC the City of Fountains.

Today, we're featuring the Firefighters Fountain and Memorial, honoring Kansas City firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty. A larger-than-life bronze firefighter stands with his head bowed in remembrance.
