We went to USRA nationals, showed up late Friday just in time for the heat, went through pretech and they didnt like my body so i had to throw 25lbs on the rf, really upset the car for the heat but its part of it. We ended up smoking a tire in the feature and eventually pulling off.
Saturday we started by points in the C main, since i showed up late we started last finished 4th, got 3rd with a dq. Started 13th in the B main was up to 8th taking top 6 and the car just lost ignition and died. It started back up fine, looked it over during the week and decided we needed to race it at least one more time.
Last night we went to I-35 speedway, missed my heat so we started 20th in a stacked field, made it up and had some fun racing with Blake Peeler and ended up 11th and the car ran fine. Weird deal but we have all winter to look it over. Thanks for all the help this year. Didnt quite end up how I wanted but we have a good car and know what to do moving forward. Need to race more next year, if anyone wants to be on the car next year and thinks I could help their business, reach out and we can figure out a plan to benefit the both of us.
