Parking tips 🔐 for Bike Share KC riders!
💚 Lock up and end your trip for FREE at official Bike Share KC hubs. (find them on the app)

🟡 For a $2 out-of-hub fee, Kansas City (Missouri), Kansas City (Kansas), North Kansas City, Overland Park, and Aspiria campus riders may lock up to a public bike rack, or street sign within our service area. (find service area boundaries on the app) Lenexa riders may end their trip *only* at an official Bike Share KC hub.

🛑 You may incure fines if you end your trip without locking up to a fixed object (like a bike rack), keep the bike on private property, or leave the bike blocking sidewalks, handrails, ramps, transit stops, etc.

YES! You can bike to a match at KC Stadium. City leaders and event organizers are updating information almost daily about transportation to World Cup matches, and here's what we know right now:

There are routes from the west and south, with bike parking available.

Bike Share KC has landed in City of Overland Park, Kansas Government!
Thanks to the leadership and vision of OP city council and staff, you can now check out Bike Share KC from six hubs located along the Metcalf corridor.

How to use Bike Share KC in Overland Park
Check out a bike in Overland Park and ride it all over the metro! Please end your trip within our service area (boundaries can be found in the Bike Share KC app). That means you can ride from OP to the Plaza, Lenexa, or even across the river into North Kansas City!

People who work on the Aspiria Campus will also be happy to know that thanks to this new partnership, you can now ride off campus and end your trip elsewhere in Overland Park.

Where to park
Free: lock up and end your trip for free at official Bike Share KC hubs.

$2: Lock up nearly anywhere within the service area as long as the bikes remain available to other users and do not inhibit anyone else’s mobility. Check the app or our Frequently Asked Questions for more details.

Where are the Overland Park hubs?
The best way to find a Bike Share KC bike or hub anywhere in the KC metro is by opening your Bike Share KC app. If you check your app today, you'll find the six new hubs in Overland Park:

* 91st & Metcalf
* Roe Park
* 105th & Metcalf
* 110th & Metcalf
* Overland Park Convention Center

Are you attending a World Cup match or fan event this summer? Or maybe you're just navigating a city buzzing with soccer fans. ⚽️ Here are some tips for riding bike share to big events:

1. Plan ahead
* Decide what route you will ride ahead of time. Google Maps isn't always up-to-date, so we suggest the Regional Trails and Bikeways map! It's available online, and you can pick up a print copy in many area bike shops or request one be mailed to you.
* Check the venue's website for security notices - sometimes rules change for special events, and entry points may be closed, or bike parking may be moved.
* Park your car outside the busy area, using your Bike Share KC app to choose an area with plenty of bikes available.
* We recommend using a credit card instead of a debit card if possible, to avoid tying up your funds.

2. Park and lock up
* Use the Bike Share KC app to find a parking hub, or for a $2 fee, lock up at a street sign or other fixed object. Deploy the kickstand, secure the bike with the physical lock, and use the app to end your trip.
* Do not lock the bike to a bus stop or street car stop, handrail, or private property, and make sure you aren't blocking a sidewalk, stairway, or doorway. Basically, be considerate of the other people using the public space.

3. Don't panic
* Cell phone service may be spotty with so many people in one place. During especially busy times, you may need to wait for crowds to disperse before you can unlock a bike.
