As a new organization, we are excited to connect and build relationships within our various communities. Because our members come from different areas, our efforts are centralized, but not limited to, the Kansas City area. Our current affiliates are engaged both domestically across the United States, and abroad as well. We are always looking for new ways to initiate partnerships and to offer our h

Under new ownership, this Kansas City organization is led by decades of accumulated experience and success at various levels. Co-Owners William Collins and Nate Bowie bring relentless effort and energy in getting this team to reach the standards necessary to progress in this league. coach Bowie, an abundance of collegiate and prior professional talent is found on the Kryptonite roster. Shortly after being picked up by the Kryptonite, an open tryout was suggested by Brent Schuck in his current residency of Emporia, Kansas. From this tryout, five players would eventually be signed by the team. In regards to his fellow Emporia-based teammates, Schuck says "This group has been dedicated, and I have seen them come together over time to play well at a high level. I am confident in them and they deserve a shot to compete." Regarding the upcoming season, Coach Bowie mentions "This is the first IBA professional basketball team to arrive in Kansas City. Your Kansas City Kryptonite are sprinting towards a championship beginning in March!"

Nate Bowie has 7 years of experience playing all over the world. This brings being an owner of a professional organization as well as having connections in basketball networks easier than most. Tryouts are available and scheduled upon request.

Another partnership has been developed, and we are proud to announce our integration into Boys&Girls club of Greater Kansas City WYCO! The Kryptonite staff and players will now get the opportunity to mentor more youth around KC and build lasting relationships that will impact the city.

We are rolling! Our first class of signees are signed and sealed for the season. Very exciting for everybody as this is a first professional experience for many of the players. Lots of collegiate and international experience is on our roster already, which is showing up in practice. Stay tuned for when our home-game schedule will be released.

We had the opportunity to meet some of these incredible young kids from the Niles Home for Children previously. We were shown the huge garden that they themselves upkeep, the school and gym they had and got to teach and learn a few lessons while we were there. They are having a 5k tomorrow in KC, swing by if you can. Some of our players and coaches will be out there with the students as well.

The Kryptonite have prepared an away game fall schedule, so that finalizations can be made and home games can be hosted coming this winter/spring. All of us are excited for professional basketball to be here in Kansas, we hope you are too!
