Bright Spot Friday
Welcome back Kate Gordon! Kate took the last few months off, but she had done almost a year of Strong & Fit. Now she is trying our “Diablo School” because her goals changed, and and she wanted a program with higher reps, lower weights, etc. Diablo School fits the bill there. It is a 6 month program and it mostly works within the 65%-85% weights. The rep schemes very from 3s to 15s for main lifts, and tend have higher rep and muscle group focus accessories.
Also welcome back Coach Scott Metcalf! If you were at the gym this morning, he was there waiting for you.
If you’re a NFL fan, Scott is a Seahawk fan - feel free to talk some smack this weekend. I’m a 9ers fan and we have a gentleman’s bet on it.

Hey everyone!!
Guess what?
Yep, Small Groups begin tonight. 3 of our members who will be competing at the USAPL Rookie/Novice meet will be having their first session together.

Interested in training with other people in a small group? If you’re on the same program that would be helpful, but it isn’t necessary (yet). You could just ask your friends, “wanna have date at the barbell?” And we can plan a workout in advance.

She has done a tremendous job in contests to date, but she wants more and she's going for that pro invite.
