Some of my best childhood memories are with you. Taking me to soccer games, driving me to tournaments, and supporting every dream I decided to chase.

You watched me grow as a person, especially as a goalkeeper, and now as a coach. But more than anything, you always gave me the freedom to make my own choices, trusted me to find my own path, and supported me throughout the journey, even when I wanted to quit soccer to play basketball.

Even though we havenโ€™t seen each other in quite a while, I want you to know that a big part of who I am todayโ€”and of any success Iโ€™ve had as a coach and as a personโ€”is because you trusted me when it mattered most.

Thank you for being there.

Itโ€™s probably time we pay each other a visit. And while weโ€™re at it, itโ€™s definitely time to update these photos too. They look like they were taken with a BlackBerry. ๐Ÿ˜‚
