More than 50% of our gym is q***r. Over 20% of those athletes have never lifted weights before or stepped foot in a gym for the exact reasons stated above.

We are so proud of every single one of you. Getting outside of your comfort zone is hard enough — doing it in a space that has historically felt unwelcoming takes a different kind of courage. You trusted us with your fitness journey, and we don’t take that lightly.

Joy is the only word I can come up with to describe the day we had yesterday. Spending all day as a community, celebrating together, was magical. ✨🌈

We showed up for our athletes, our community, and for everyone in Kansas City who deserves a fitness space where they feel seen, safe, and supported. 💚

That’s why we walk in the KC Pride Parade every year — to show our members that we stand with them, and to show our friends out there in the KC community that LGBTQ+ friendly gyms do exist. Right here in Waldo. 🌈

One of the many common faults we see in the kettlebell swing is hip extension without simultaneous knee extension.

When you extend both your hips and knees at the same time, you’re recruiting more muscle mass and creating a more powerful force transfer through the bell. Isolating just the hips cuts that power short.

Drive both to full extension rapidly and explosively — that’s how you maximize your output. 💪⚡
