If you're in the dark part right now, love, this one's for you…
When I climbed Pikes Peak, the first three and a half hours were in total darkness.
Terrifying!
I couldn't see the path ahead, couldn't see how far I'd come, couldn't see the top.
Just one small pool of headlamp light… and the next step.
But here's what I learned: the dark was not a detour.
It was the climb.
Every hard thing has a dark stretch -
the part before the light comes back,
before it gets beautiful,
before you can see that you're actually getting somewhere.
The middle came.
It always does.
The light returned... and something in me lifted with it.
And even the grueling last miles eventually gave way to the summit.
So if you're in your terrifying dark hours right now -
a hard season,
a lonely stretch,
a climb with no top in sight…
Hear me... keep taking the next step.
You don't have to see the whole path.
You just have to see the next pool of light.
This is exactly why I make my guided journals, love -
a place to map your own climb,
to look back and see how far you've come...
even while you're still in the dark.
My coaching and my heart, in a form you can hold. 🤎
