The “Red, White, and Blue Tour” is coming to Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System as the Charlotte Crushers take on the U.S. Military All-Stars for an All-American baseball game.

For more than 25 years, the U.S. Military All-Stars have been a modern-day barnstorming team promoting awareness for the honorable sacrifices of the American Armed Forces. The 28-man team is made up of active-duty servicemen who represent each branch of the United State Military.

My name is Jim Klepper and I am the General Manager for the Charlotte Crushers, a summer collegiate baseball team. I want to let you know that on Friday June 3rd the US Military All Star Baseball Team will be visiting the Kannapolis area on their Red, White and Blue Tour. After visiting several locations during their short visit, the players will make their way to Kannapolis Intimidators Stadium where they will hold a "Passing of the Flag" and "Walk of Honor" ceremony beginning at 6:30pm followed by a baseball game versus the Charlotte Crushers at 7:00pm.

The US Military All Stars are active duty servicemen on assignment to continue awareness of our armed forces through their barnstorming city by city baseball games. Their opponent, the Charlotte Crushers, is a team comprised of mainly Division II players several of whom have ties to our local area. The US Military All Stars will be traveling with a documentary film crew, Ryan Seacrest Productions. The documentary will air on various networks at the conclusion of the season. You can visit these two websites to understand more about each organization:

Why are we playing?
We view this as an opportunity to honor and support our active duty military and our local veterans. The US Military All Stars played in the area three years ago and it was a big hit. This game may be their only NC stop before traveling to VA as they make their way up the East Coast.

Why in our area?
The “Passing of the Flag” and “Walk of Honor” ceremonies are unique military traditions we want our local area to experience. The Intimidators General Manager, Randy Long, and the Kannapolis Intimidators organization agree that this is just the right fit for the city and they have been fantastic to work with on this event. An additional advantage is a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Charlotte Crushers Baseball Club.

What are we looking for?
First, we are looking for a title sponsor for this event. Second, we need assistance advertising this game. Specifically we need people or businesses to help us provide meals and lodging for our servicemen. We will also accept donations toward these goals. On June 2nd, the US Military All Stars will host a media event at the stadium, giving fans the opportunity to meet, greet, and take photos with these American heroes. They will have a second opportunity on June 3rd after the game; both are perfect opportunities for marketing your business or organization. The Crushers sincerely hope you see the value of being involved in this event and will agree to support the US Military All Stars during their visit.
