NEW THIS SUMMER: Y Play Days! 🎉

Looking for a fun way to spend time together as a family? Join us for Y Play Days, a drop-in family play program designed for children ages 2–6 and their parents or guardians.

Each session features a themed activity where kids can explore, play, stay active, and make new friends in a safe and welcoming YMCA environment!

📅 June 22 – July 29 (see select dates below)
⏰ 9:30–11:30 AM
📍 Kankakee Area YMCA

💚 YMCA Members: FREE
💙 Prospective Families: $5 per child
(Includes a full YMCA day pass for the child and up to two parents/guardians!)

Whether you're already part of the Y family or looking for a chance to experience everything the YMCA has to offer, Y Play Days is the perfect place to play, connect, and make memories together.

👉 Registration is required and must be completed at least one day before attending.

⚠️ Facility Update – Wednesday, June 17 ⚠️

Due to the threat of severe weather in our area, the Kankakee Area YMCA AND YMCA Childcare Center will CLOSE at 2:00PM TODAY, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17.

The safety of our members, participants, staff, and volunteers is our highest priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing early to help everyone get home safely before conditions potentially worsen.

We encourage everyone to continue monitoring local weather updates and take the necessary precautions to stay safe.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it is safe to do so.

For Faith, Isaiah, and Trinity Davis who are now playing basketball at the collegiate level across the country (Bethel University, University of Illinois Springfield, and Stony Brook University), it's about coming back to a familiar place that has been part of their journey from the beginning.
