Spouses Hawaii Area Kickball Association - Females only A spouses' kickball league organized for a fun and friendly play while fulfilling the three pillars of SHAKA: Camaraderie, Charity, and Competition.

League announcements, shout outs and other important information will be shared on this page. SHAKA Mission Statement:
Spouses' Hawaii Area Kickball Association (SHAKA) is a kickball league made up of spouses of active duty Marines and Sailors with varying athletic abilities from MCBH and Camp Smith (Females only). SHAKA's foundation is made up of three pillars: Camaraderie, Charity and Competition. The three pillars enhance spouses' resiliency to Marine Corps life and stressors by building friendships, individual confidence as a player through fun competition and leadership opportunities and pride by giving back to others within the Marine Corps community. SHAKA provides spouses a unique opportunity to get involved, represent and support their Marine's and Sailor's unit.

👵🏼✨ Granny Bingo was such a fun night! ✨👵🏼

We had yummy food, dancing, tons of laughs, lots of winners, amazing prizes, and so many good memories made! From spa goodies and workout bags to hats, water bottles, Aloha cooler bag with a $15 Starbucks gift card for our Best Granny Costume winner ☕️🎁 There was definitely plenty of fun to go around!

We only wish more of you could have joined us! 💕 If you missed this one, don’t worry This won’t be our last event! Keep an eye out for what’s coming next because we’d love to see even more of you there. 🥰🎉

A huge MAHALO to all of our players, spouses, families, friends, volunteers, and supporters who came out to make our 2026 Kick-A-Thon such a success!

Because of your generosity and enthusiasm, we are incredibly proud to announce that we raised $1,445 for the Hawaii Fisher House Foundation! ❤️🏡 🙌 Every dollar raised will help provide comfort and support to military and veteran families during times of medical need.

We are currently accepting applications for Commissioner positions.

If you’re interested in helping support the league, contributing to league decisions, and becoming part of our leadership team, we’d love to hear from you!

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must have at least two seasons remaining on island.
• Active duty members may apply if they are non-deployable and playing as a spouse on their spouse’s unit team.
• Players may apply even if a commissioner is already on their current team; however, if selected, one of the two would need to change teams.

If you’re interested in applying, please submit your application.

You all put in the work, showed up week after week, and made this season so exciting to watch. From big plays to close games, the level of competition and heart on the field did not go unnoticed, well deserved all around!

To everyone in the league, mahalo for being part of another amazing season. Whether you were playing, coaching, supporting from the sidelines, or helping things run behind the scenes, you’re what makes this league so special. The friendships, laughs, and unforgettable moments are what it’s all about, and this season had plenty of them.

Come join us for SHAKA’s Spring Season! 🌺

SHAKA is a spouses’ kickball league built around fun, friendly play while embracing our three pillars: Camaraderie, Charity, and Competition.

We’re kicking off our Spring Kickball season in just a few weeks! SHAKA is a women’s kickball league open to active duty members and military spouses.

Practices and games are held at MCBH Kaneohe Bay. Teams are unit-based, but no worries if your spouse’s unit doesn’t have a team—you can join as a free agent. Whether you have zero athletic experience or you’re an Olympic athlete, all skill levels are welcome!

Come get some exercise, have some laughs, and make lifelong friends along the way.
