Mommy I Want a Pony Program
The homeschool community has spoken and Goal Oriented Animal Therapy had heard you!
You told us you wanted something affordable, educational and fun. You wanted something that would help your children learn new skills, become kinder, more cooperative people. You wanted something that would teach them to get along with their siblings and friends, really listen to what your are saying, pay attention and follow through with tasks. You also told us your children would really like a pony or they want to take lessons but maybe they don’t understand the time, cost and hard word that goes along with that.
We have come up with a program for you.
The Mommy I Want a Pony Program is for homeschoolers or other groups wanting to learn the realities of horse ownership. Each one hour lesson covers a different aspect of horse ownership and care.
$15 per child
Bring your homeschool group of 5-10 kiddos to our beautiful Kaneohe ranch to learn about:
Practical life skills-Horse and ranch safety
Anatomy-Horse anatomy, gender, breeds, colors
Taking care of our things so they last-Saddles and other horse equipment
Time management- Daily care and maintenance, exercise requirements,
Responsibility- mucking and grooming,
Math and economics- how much do they eat, how much does it cost, vet costs, more
Herd dynamincs- what can horse behavior tell us about our own interactions with others
Sign your group up for 6 weekly lessons and receive a certificate in basic horse care upon completion. Or come out for just a few visits to learn some useful skills.
