We could really use 2-3 people in the concession stand tomorrow (6/18) night! We have a major baseball game, a major softball all star game, and a coach pitch game all starting at 6:00 pm!

We’re thrilled to announce that our new batting cage project is complete!

The new batting cage will provide our players with a dedicated space to develop their skills, build confidence, and prepare for success both on and off the field for years to come.

Be sure to stop by the fields and check out the finished project! Please be mindful of the Batting Cage Rules to help preserve its condition. We also have some new soft-toss nets and tees to utilize throughout the facility. Please clean up after yourself so other athletes can enjoy! 😊 🥎 ⚾️

There are a number of fundraisers that have not been turned in. These fundraisers support our league.. improvements, uniforms, equipment, etc.

If you have not yet turned in your lucky lotto fundraiser, today is your last chance to ensure your supporters’ chances go into Monday’s drawing! All books (sold & unsold) need to be turned in. We appreciate your understanding!

As we move further into the season, we want to take a moment to address something important: Our little league only works when everyone helps.

Work bees and concession stand shifts are not optional extras — they are what keep our facility playable, our games running smoothly, and our program available for all families. When volunteer spots go unfilled, the workload falls on the same small group of people over and over again, leading to burnout and unfinished projects.

A lack of volunteer participation can result in:

🔹 Delays in field prep and maintenance

🔹Reduced concession availability during games

🔹 Increased costs for the organization

🔹 Fewer improvements and opportunities for players

🔹 The possibility of future schedule or program limitations

This league is built on community effort. If every family contributes even a small amount of time, the impact is huge. We understand everyone is busy and beautiful days are currently few and far between, but many hands truly make light work.

Please consider attending upcoming work bees and signing up for concession shifts. Your support directly benefits every player on the field.

Thank you to the volunteers who continue to show up and help keep this program going strong.

Tonight from 5:30-6:30 pm Hannah Punk will be at the clubhouse at Flickerwood Fields for fundraisers to be turned in. Please bring your completed fundraiser and monies at this time.

Check preferred and written out to Kane Area Little League. Total should be $140.

⚠️🚧 REMINDER • UPDATE 🚧⚠️

We have found equipment with buckets and railroad ties. We are still in need of an auger machine, w**d eaters, and manpower!

In case this helps with planning your Sunday, we plan to work for 2-4 hours starting at 10 a.m. The more individuals that show to assist, the quicker and easier reaching the projects’ completions could be!
