The 2026 Idaho Scholastic 3-D Archery Indoor NFAA 5-Spot is officially in the books.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event happen—volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters who showed up and put in the work behind the scenes.

And to the archers who weren’t feeling their best but powered through just to qualify for Nationals—that grit is what defines champions. You showed up when it mattered, and that speaks louder than any score.

Well done, Idaho. 🎯

Congratulations to Toryn Mowery with Bitterroot Bowmen in Idaho S3DA! 🦃🏹

Toryn shared, “This was my very first spring turkey hunt, and it was super special—I got to watch my dad call in this tom to just 8 yards before I took the shot. Turkey hunting is so much fun!”

Congratulations to Odhan Mowery with Bitterroot Bowmen in Idaho S3DA! Odhan has frequently traveled with his dad throughout the states, either watching him guide or hunt. He shared that his dad has always encouraged him in outdoor activities. 2024 was a special year because Odhan turned 10 years old and could hunt big game. He passed all his bowhunter and hunter education courses, along with trapping and wolf trapping certifications. Reflecting on his hunting trip, Odhan said, "This was my time to officially hunt with my dad! I was able to take my first black bear with my bow this past spring, but I really wanted to take my first buck with a bow. This past summer, Dad took me into the timber to learn about hunting whitetail in vast timber areas. I quickly realized there's a lot to soak in. We hunted on the ground under some cedars that Dad called 'the ultimate predator blind', a nine-pinch point on a travel corridor. We watched several deer throughout the morning but without any shot opportunities. In the late afternoon of September 1st, this unique buck gave me the shot I was after. I sent my arrow from my Bear Archery Species EV at 24 yards right through his lungs, making a quick, ethical kill, and watched him drop within 50 yards. I had just taken my first velvet buck! The experience and excitement are something I will forever be thankful for as I continue to grow as a disciplined hunter and archer!" Odhan would like to thank the S3DA program for allowing not only him but everyone nationwide to be a part of this great community!
