This is an old article but a good read for anyone interested in a little history on the reintroduction of the Canadian wolves to the lower 48 and how it was perceived by many living in Idaho and Montana.

🫎 Mike has been advocating for the wolf population reduction since shortly after they were reintroduced to the area and quickly wreaking havoc on the areas livestock and wildlife.

🐺 there is much to this preditor that is easily overlooked.
They are massive dogs, adults on average ranging from 50 to 180lbs. They are very intelligent, making them sly hunters and hard to trap. They live, hunt, and breed in packs. Sometime packs of 12 or more. Bred females can birth litters on average of 6-12 pups in just a short 63 days of gestation. Primary diet is large hoofed mammals such as elk, deer, and moose but are often drawn to livestock in many areas of Idaho and Montana.
