This week we worked multiple variants of ude osae. And then came weapons night: kokyu-nage variants.

Why, yes, we're still training with modified techniques. Variants of shomen-uchi ude osae and ryote-dori shiho-nage. Why do you ask?

Most of our techniques have simple names: kote mawashi (wrist wringing) or shiho nage (four direction throw). Last night we worked on obake-waza, which roughly translates as the “rain ghost” technique.
